Introduction

You may be wondering how a high-technology company such as GJC Technical became involved in the 'cottage industry' of handmade arts and crafts. In a nutshell, one of our directors is also an artist who has brought his engineering background to bear on some of the issues that artists face. Our first handmade products, the tripod adapter and tripod-mounted baseboards, came to the market after many of those who saw the prototypes suggested that we ought to sell them! The rest, as they say, is history!
